- Mainly involved in recruiting students – handling enquiries, counselling and student services.
- Meeting with representatives from new institutions for collaboration
- Involved with marketing plans for the company
My most memorable experience dealing with students:
Assisting students who were from being clueless about their future plans to being confident and independent in carrying themselves. We have had students and parents who were initially sceptical about us but then entrusted us along the way after we have delivered results to them.
I have also had experience of helping a very last-minute student from applying to preparing to fly in just 1 month. Also, having to give a ‘lecture-like’ counselling to 9 students at one time. And until now, a student to whom we are grateful to for promoting us and sharing with others about her experiences applying through us and studying overseas through her blog!
Advice to students
- Be open to advice and suggestions from relevant people and secure your decisions by doing your research
- Be optimistic with your own capability and passion because everyone is unique in their own way.
- Understand your motivation and expectation in furthering your studies and what you want for a career.

My most memorable experience dealing with students:
There are too many to share about memorable experience, every single student to me is also memorable. I enjoy seeing students after consulted by me, from being confused to being certain and believing in themselves.
It is also memorable to see students gain their confidence in knowing the right course to choose, right pathway to follow and eventually succeed in their studies and career.
Advice to students
- Start to know what you want earlier, don’t wait until last minute
- Ask more questions before you confirm what you want to study

- Overseeing student’s application process to universities
- Dealing with overseas partner universities for student’s enquiries, applications and follow up, offer acceptance, enrolment and etc…
- Contract applications/renewal with partner universities.
I am very much passionate with my job. I have learned that the most important thing by being in the admission team – never procrastinate student’s application process.
By making student’s life easier with assisting them with their applications, I am indeed very happy and contented. I am a cheerful and outgoing person as well, and I need music while I am working! My philosophy in work – be courteous, smart, quick, and never ever delay!

- Processing application to universities and colleges, following up for student offer letter.
- Dealing with local partner universities and colleges for students’ enquiries, applications and follow-up, offer acceptance, enrolment and etc.
I have learned a lot about education throughout my 6 years experience in the Admissions team as a student admission officer. It is fun and exciting for me because different institutions have different procedures and I get to learn new things every time. For me, the most memorable and precious experience is the whole team working together tirelessly to deliver a favourable outcome to student and parents. As time passes very quickly, we should treasure every moment we have to enjoy our lives to do what we wanted.
